I'm excited to get this show on the road...I seem to find ways to always be busy and make excuses from being creative and ironically that is the very thing that keeps me sane and happy. Today we are exploring the textile medium of rug hooking. I've done a lot of research and played with several different surface types. Today I am working with burlap and using a #10 Oxford Punching Needle. Despite what the box says, I learned that my yarn is too thin, so I am doubling it as a solution until my thicker yarn comes. Please watch my video to see some helpful tips I've learned along the way.
